OIC has sought to foster learning for all of our students in a way that will most encourage attention and retention. One of the means that has long been utilized is the live translation, as needed, of class teaching and course lectures.
Class Notes and Materials
Another way we have desired to encourage long-term student engagement and involvement is through translation of every PowerPoint presentation, many curriculum notes, and all student notes from English into the language of the country or region in which a given course was being held. Local pastors and other translators have spent countless hours and significant energy serving the Lord’s people with these wonderful resources. To date, these course materials have been translated into many languages, including Arabic, Chinese, Dutch, French, German, Hungarian, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Thai.
Books and Other Resources
Along with providing comprehensive translated notes for students of CLT and Graduate Program classes, OIC has also supported and assisted with translation of a variety of Biblical counseling books, including Paul David Tripp’s Instruments in the Redeemer’s Hands, and other similar resources.
Take a bit of time to hear stories and testimonies from around the world of the Lord’s gracious hand at work in and through Biblical counselors and biblical counseling ministry at the BC Worldwide podcast.
