Region of Service: Global
I am originally from Naples, Florida, where I pursued Journalism at a state university. However, the Lord stirred me to move to Louisville, Kentucky, to pursue an education studying Biblical counseling after realizing the effectiveness of the sufficiency of Scripture in people’s lives.
I graduated from Boyce College, the undergraduate school of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, with a Bachelor of Science in Biblical Counseling in May 2021 and will be continuing on at Southern Seminary where I will be pursing an Advanced Masters of Divinity and my ACBC certification.
I love to serve within the context of the local community, and so I hope to get a job serving a non-profit ministering to women in crisis situations. I came in contact with OIC through Dr. Andrew Rogers as my counseling professor my first year at Boyce. After hearing about my love for writing and how I originally pursued journalism prior to counseling, he offered me an internship where I could combine my two loves by writing about counselors around the world training trainers of biblical counseling through OIC’s modules and programs.
My role with OIC has been assisting with administrative work and writing articles for our Insiders about OIC’s coordinators and team members. This has been especially encouraging to me as I hear stories about how fruitful OIC’s counseling training is all around the world for people in many different cultures and contexts reminding me of the effectiveness of God’s Word and why I chose to pursue Biblical counseling.
